The General Circulation collection houses foreign and local publications with greatest number of library collections as it heavily supports all program offerings at the University.

BORROWING POLICIES

  • General Circulation materials are available for both in-library and home use. Students and non-teaching employees may borrow books for home use for up to seven (7) days, while faculty and teaching employees may borrow them for up to fourteen (14) days.
  • Students and non-teaching employees can borrow up to five (5) books, while faculty or teaching employees can borrow up to ten (10) books.
  • Students and non-teaching employees may renew their borrowed books for an additional seven (7) days, up to a maximum of two (2) renewals. Similarly, teaching employees may renew their borrowed books for another fourteen (14) days, also up to two (2) times.
  • All borrowed materials are subject to overdue penalties and other fines. Overdue books incur a fee of ten (10) pesos per day, excluding days when there are no classes or no school days. The processing fee for lost or damaged books is one-hundred (100) pesos per item. If the damage is severe and the item is irreparable, the borrower must replace it, and it will be considered a lost item.
  • Users with outstanding liabilities in any campus library will be tagged in the Student Clearance System. They must settle any of the following liabilities before they can be untagged from the system:
    • Unreturned book(s)
    • Unpaid library fines
    • Unsettled book replacement(s)
